Terry's Story

Back in August 2004, while putting the final touches to a workshop I had built, I fell from the roof shattering my ankle. As a result of my accident I ended up having a below the knee amputation at Charing Cross Hospital.
During my time at the Hospital I learnt that you only get out of life what you put in. I was treated by some truly dedicated loving and experienced staff in the amputee rehabilitation field and made some really good friends on the way.
It was one of these Friends ‘Laura’ who was my Physio during my rehabilitation who first made me aware of this fund raising event to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Regards,

Terry
